How we hire at Validio
How we hire here at Validio is an important part of our culture. We care about building a diverse and inclusive workplace, and that begins with hiring. In order to build something that has not been built before, we need different perspectives and experiences, and a fair hiring process is the first step in getting there.
When you participate in our hiring process we focus a lot on transparency, speed (we don't want to keep you waiting longer than needed) and that our process reflects as much as possible how it is to actually work here.
As we respect the time you invest in our process we have tried to keep it as tight as possible. The whole process can be done in less than two weeks, mostly depending on your availability. In other words - you set the pace.
Our hiring process
Application
Apply with your LinkedIn profile and/or your CV. We will ask you to answer some short questions in relation to the role in order to make a quicker assessment.
The People team will then shortlist the applications and together with the hiring manager decide next steps.
Screening
30-45 minute chat over google meet with the Talent Acquisition Partner. In the call you will get more information about the role, our culture and be asked questions related to your work-life experiences.
Interview
After the screening follows a interview with the hiring manager for the role. This interview is usually longer with more focus on the role.
Assignment/ review session
It is important for us everyone joining will have a realistic image of their future responsibilities and tasks. Therefore all candidates will work on an assignment to test the required skills for the role. Engineers will be asked to complete a technical coding assignment and other roles a case interview and presentation.
When the assignment is done by the candidate we have a one hour assignment review together with the hiring team
Interview with CEO & Co-founder
The last step before the references & offer stage is an interview with our Co-founder & CEO. It is important for us to as early as possible vet communication skills and cultural fit. The meeting will also focus on you getting to know the story of the company and where we are headed.
Offer & references
At the very end of the process we vet references and give you an offer. If we all are in agreement we say - welcome to the team and send out our benefits package & contract through digital signing 🎉
