About the role
Validio is looking for a founding team member of the Customer Success team to take ownership of customer satisfaction and success, as well as increasing product adoption among existing customers. At Validio, we work with some of the most AI and data driven companies, and our customers continuously challenge us with new data quality validation and monitoring requirements.
As complexity grows for both us and our customers, we are looking to our Customer Success Manager to strategize and lead customers to solutions. This involves clear requirement mapping, use case discovery, Validio evangelism, and educating users about our product.
As a Customer Success Manager, you will manage customer relationships, become a trusted advisor to our users, and contribute to Validio’s fast-growing success. You will be the voice of the user and collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure key improvements are captured in the roadmap and communicated back to customers. You will also work closely with our sales organization on expansion opportunities, leveraging your deep understanding of our customers and their use cases.
What you’ll do
Be responsible for the overall relationship with assigned customers, including onboarding, increasing adoption, ensuring retention, and building trust and advocacy.
Plan and lead workshops and best practice sessions to drive further adoption.
Serve as a product expert, addressing user questions regarding features and usage to unblock adoption.
Champion the customer and advocate for their needs, providing product feedback internally.
Deeply understand our customers’ use cases and the value we provide, leveraging this expertise and tag team with sales to drive renewals and expansions.
Support product marketing initiatives, such as developing customer stories, case studies, and references.
Take on additional projects to improve the product, reduce support load, and streamline processes.
Travel to customer HQ from time to time which may include off-sites abroad.
We believe you have
Top-notch verbal and written communication skills, with strong command of English.
Excellent project management skills and a track record of working cross-functionally to drive complex projects to completion.
Proven experience and success in client and stakeholder management.
Strong ability to listen and empathize with customers, picking up on non-verbal cues and adjusting communication accordingly.
A strong technical aptitude—whether through an engineering background or technical experience acquired from previous roles or extracurricular activities.
The ability to thrive in a multifaceted environment, handling both commercial and business topics alongside technical and product discussions.
And while not required, extra points if you have:
Experience from Tier 1 management consulting firm or previous experience in recruiting, building and leading CS or Solution Engineering teams
