About the role
We are looking for a talented Frontend Engineer who thrives in a role that combines frontend expertise with backend knowledge. In this position, you will be a key player in building the foundations of our platform while tackling the data quality challenges of the future. If you enjoy balancing both frontend and backend work—roughly 60% frontend and 40% backend—this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Your primary focus will be frontend development, where you’ll craft exceptional user interfaces using Web Components. However, your backend experience will also come into play as you contribute to building and managing APIs (GraphQL), and integrating with databases (TimescaleDB, Redis). You will work alongside a senior team of developers at the forefront of an exciting and evolving field, where your contributions will shape the user experience and overall architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable, reusable UI components using JavaScript/TypeScript with a preference for native browser APIs and Node.js.
• Expand the product with intuitive UIs and user-focused features, ensuring they are designed for maximum impact and ease of use.
• Drive the development and adoption of design systems and design tokens to ensure consistent styling, theming, and responsiveness across the platform.
• Collaborate with backend teams to develop and integrate GraphQL APIs, internal services, and databases.
• Maintain a focus on writing clean, readable, and maintainable code.
• Strike the right balance between elegant solutions and meeting time-sensitive requirements.
  

We believe you are/have 

• At least 5 years of professional experience in frontend development with a strong focus on building UI components and design systems.
• Hands-on experience with Web Components, GraphQL, and database technologies like PostgreSQL.
• Passionate about user experience and design consistency, with a keen eye for aesthetics and functionality.
• Familiar with design tokens and understand how to leverage them to ensure a cohesive and scalable UI across different platforms.
• You value code quality and take pride in writing clean and maintainable solutions.
• Experience in API and product development is a plus.
